Oh gosh I am sorry!

So much has been going on lately that I wish I wrote it all down to remember to blog about it!
I have been putting the kids to bed at night and sitting on the couch forcing my eyes to stay awake until I just can't do it any longer. Then I drag myself to bed and sleep for an hour before the vicious cycle of Phoenix wakings begin for the night.
She has been terrible at sleeping. And I give up on trying different methods to stop the madness. It is what it is, so we bought a larger bed to accommodate the little squiggle queen. She flip flops between loving to co-sleep and loving her crib. What a girl! She can't make up her mind!
On top of the lack of sleep, we have been having some troubles with Trace. I noticed a few months back that he was blinking quite frequently.  I brushed it off as nothing at first until I noticed it was happening more often and was often accompanied by slight facial drooping and head ticks. To be honest it totally looked like Tourette's. I had no idea what it could be, but it progressed to an every day occurrence and sometimes would go on for minutes at a time. Over and over. We took him to his pediatrician and they think it might be mild seizures but cannot be sure at this time. He has a neurology appointment on the 28th of this month, it can not come soon enough! The "ticks" as I have been referring to them as have not stopped so I am hoping after some testing we can figure out what is going on.
While I have been away from my blog we have taken some fun adventures! Trace got to meet the real Thomas the Train and actually ride him! We had a blast in Essex, CT on a steam train the was lead by Thomas. Trace was so happy! I think Phoenix loved it more, she was pulling herself out the train window and breathing in all the fresh air. She had the biggest grin on her face the entire time. We rode on carnival rides and ate ice cream and root beer floats.

We also went to Dinosaur State park last week. I hadn't been there since I was a kid and couldn't remember if it would be fun or not. Well.... for a "State Park" there wasn't much going on. A large room with dinosaur tracks and one fake life sized dino. Woo hoo.... We had a good time anyways, there were trails to walk on and the kids loved looking at all the trees.

All in all things are fine at home. I am tired and worn out though. I need naps that I never get. My allergies have been killing me and I don't think I can take anything because I am nursing. So I am fighting through my puffy itchy eyes and runny nose.
I am trying my best to blog as often as possible, I love it so much but finding time to myself has been hard lately.
