My SD card is prompting me to format and I have no other option but to oblige. I don't even know why or what it means. However, I can't save the pictures that are on it, pictures of Phoenix from birth until now. All gone. Some are saved on my computer but not most. I am so bummed. So in memory of... my memory card, I will post some pictures of my kids that survived the apocalypse of pictures.
So... with a fresh clean SD card. I begin a new chapter. And this time I will take the hint and print them out instead of just keeping them on my card assuming they will actually stay there.

Oh I feel your pain! I lost a bunch of photos of my son including video of him kicking because I had no computer to download them to and then when finally did all the files were corrupt. Sad day indeed.
Oh heartache! Losing pictures is tragic. After a similar experience, I am now obsessive about uploading them to the computer every week or so. Just found your blog via Bekah at My Little Loves. :)

Ugh! I'm sorry this happened to you. That is worse. I started uploading all of mine on Shutterfly so that way if some happens to my SD card or computer, I have them saved on a website too.

I am going to start putting everything on Shutterfly and actually PRINT them for photobooks. I guess looking at the positive it was a kick in the butt to start doing something with all the pictures I take.
